(Oligofructose-enriched Inulin Orafti®Synergy1)

Prebiotic for strong bones and teeth:
InoCalTM (Oligofructose-enriched Inulin Orafti®Synergy1) is the most effective prebiotic for dietary calcium absorption and it does so in a natural way. Consuming InoCalTM everyday increases calcium absorption and mineral density in the bones. InoCalTM is a dietary supplement extracted from plants. The ingredients of InoCalTM are GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for baby foods in USA.

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body. Up to 70% of our dietary calcium does not get absorbed and passes through our feces. Calcium is required for vascular contraction and vasodilation, muscle function, nerve transmission, intracellular signaling, hormone secretion and, particularly for, strong bones and teeth. Calcium is stored in the bones and teeth where it supports their structure and promotes their function. Bones undergo continuous remodeling, with constant resorption and deposition of calcium into new bone. The balance between bone resorption and deposition changes with age. Bone formation exceeds resorption in periods of growth in children and adolescents, whereas in early and middle adulthood both processes are relatively equal. In aging adults, particularly among postmenopausal women, bone breakdown exceeds formation, resulting in bone loss that increases the risk of osteoporosis with time.

Ingredients:
Each sachet of InoCalTM contains 2.0g of a standardized soluble powder consisting of Oligofructose-enriched Inulin Orafti®Synergy1. No sugar, flavor or preservative added in the product.

Indications:
– InoCalTM is indicated for strong bones and teeth.
– InoCalTM is recommended in children and adults for increasing dietary calcium absorption
– InoCalTM is also indicated for the increase in the number of Bifidobacteria in the colon, the depletion of which usually occurs after the use of antibiotics, during gastrointestinal infections or diarrheal episodes.
– InoCalTM can be co-prescribed with calcium, vitamins, minerals, ORS or antibiotics.

Dosage and administration:
The usual recommended dosage of InoCalTM for infants of 1-12 months, half sachet a day; children of 1-6 years, half to one sachet a day; children of 7-12 years, one to two sachets a day; and adults one to four sachets a day. The contents of InoCalTM sachet can be poured into a small quantity of water and consumed. For the best result calcium rich food like yogurt or milk should be consumed simultaneously.
